Both New Providence Island and Paradise Island of Bahamas play major roles in the film. Beach Villa of Solange and Dimitrios at the Bahamas is Nassau's The Albany Golf & Beach Club. In some of the movie's early scenes, the beautiful lobby and a beachfront villa of the luxurious One & Only Ocean Club on the Paradise island was featured.
Former Kaiserbad Spa at Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, was the location used to film the exterior of the Casino Royale and the Grandhotel Pupp was served as "Hotel Splendide". The city is historically famous for its hot springs and was founded more than 600 years ago.

The majority of the film's ending locations were in Italy. James Bond moors his yacht through Guidecca Canal and Giudecca Island into Venice. The island has the home of Villas built by rich Venetians that boast some of the most beautiful Venetian gardens still left intact. Famous landmarks at Venice, such as the Rialto Bridge, Grand Canal, and St. Mark's square are featured in the ending scenes. Actually Venice’s piazzas and palaces have been featured in over 400 films.

Bond awakens after torture at the Villa del Balbianello on the shores of Lake Como. The last scene of the movie when Bond meets Mr. White took place the Villa la Gaeta, another beautiful villa in the area.
